Elastocon perform a large part of our calibration tasks in the field, on-site at the customer’s facility. Many instruments are simply too large to be sent in for calibration in our laboratory. Other types of equipment, like balances, are greatly affected by their ambient environment. At the same time, peripherals can also be calibrated and the customer does not need to dispose of his equipment.
Most of the field calibrations are performed in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, but we also perform field calibration in other parts of the world.
Currently, six people work with calibration at Elastocon, two of which are usually out on field calibrations.
